Overdoses killed MORE people last year than GUNS or CAR ACCIDENTS, and are doing so at a pace faster than the H.I.V. epidemic

Willtell - ive not seen anyone suggest they should ban guns. I'm sure some have, but very few and certainly not as many as you suggest.

Thing is I don't understand is that it's not really a national epidemic Charley.... seems to be the so called Rust Towns' as they call ... the steel work places in Virgina, Kentucky, Ohio etc... elsewhere not so much a problem??

Yes Sold that's why when i read it first time the stats seemed unreal, I was watching the Louis Theroux programme dark states, as you know by that programme paramedics as a matter of course carry Naloxone (Narcan®) an antidote to overdose so big is the problem

The thing is that everyone including me responds to the news stories of massacres in USA and responds "They should ban guns."
The deeper thinkers among us then start to think about how a ban could work in a 'free' society where 310 million guns are in circulation already and start to see the problems...

I'll admit m pretty hypocritical on the whole gun control issue. As much as I think they should amend the 2nd amendment if you could guarantee only NRA supporters where the victims I'd be all for another few mass shootings.
